About

Dr. Chripa Schneller’s professional career is marked by many years of experience in international organizations, the higher education sector, and civil society work. Her previous positions include roles at UNESCO, the Asia-Europe Foundation, the Academic Cooperation Association in Brussels (the umbrella organization of, among others, the DAAD), as well as serving as the director of DeutschPlus e.V., a nationwide anti-discrimination organization in Germany.

She studied cultural studies, linguistics, and economics at the universities of Passau, Bologna, Lisbon, and São Paulo, and earned a doctorate in education.

Her professional expertise is shaped not only by practical experience and academic training but also by her long-standing community commitment. International perspectives and a wide-ranging network in academia, civil society, and start-up initiatives form the foundation of her work, which lies at the intersection of theory and practice and places a clear focus on issues of education and justice. Her personal and professional commitment to social justice have always been closely intertwined.
